In the last few months, we’ve been lucky to join Brisbane Catholic Education for our second year with their remarkable Student Voice Consultants.
These young people are working on building their leadership and advocacy skills, so that they can facilitate group discussions within their school communities and beyond. From the hands on “marshmallow spaghetti” challenge to learning online facilitation skills, working alongside these enthusiastic young people has been an absolute delight. A testament to their dedication is their willing gift of their own time with all the learning happening on Saturdays and school holidays.
Their efforts will culminate in hosting their annual “Festival of Ideas” – with a key focus on exploring different ways to make the secondary schooling experience inclusive and empowering for all students.
